The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has anounced a lift on the suspension earlier placed on the registration of candidates for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and the Direct Entry (DE) towards admission into the nation’s tertiary institutions.
JAMB spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, in a statement on Saturday, explained that the technical issues which led to the suspension of the ongoing 2021 UTME and Direct entry registrations has been resolved.
According to him, JAMB noted that some candidates had already successfully registered for the examination since the registration opened.
Daily Independent recalls that JAMB had announced Thursday, April 8 for the commencement of registration for the 2021 UTME and direct entry before it suddenly announced a suspension of the exercise owing to the failure of the board to configure the National Identity Number, NIN properly.
