According to the Joint Matriculation Board candidates who made such mistakes can make amendments to that and also retrieve their lost profile codes via their registered mobile numbers.
Such affected candidates are to follow the instructions below:
JAMB Profile Spelling Error Correction Guidelines
To correct a spelling error (s) in bio-data, candidates should be directed to NIMC office nearest to them.OR
To correct a mistake in candidate’s name, send the [CORRECT Surname First-name Middle-Name] to 55019 as a text message from the same mobile number.
JAMB Loss of Profile Code Recovery Guidelines
To retrieve a lost profile code, send [RESEND] to 55019 as a text message from the same mobile number .Candidate can reset lost or forgotten Profile Password on their registered cell phone by sending [password] space [email address] to 55019 as a text message from the same mobile number
