ESUT Original Certificates Collection Fees & Payment Guidelines

 

Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) Original Certificates Fees, Certificates Verification, Payment and Collection of Certificates Guidelines and Procedures for all Graduates (First Degrees and Postgraduate).

The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) is notifying all its first degree and postgraduate graduates who have not collected their Original Certificates to come and collect them.

The names of owners of the available Certificates (both First Degrees and Postgraduate) have been uploaded in the ESUT website: www.esut.edu.ng while more names will continue to be uploaded.

Affected graduates are therefore advised to continually visit the ESUT website to check for their names.

Latest Update: This is to inform all the graduates and postgraduates of Enugu State University of Science and Technology that the University Management at its meeting held on the 12th day of March, 2021 considered and approved that:

(1) All graduates of the University between 2000 to 2020 who are yet to collect their outstanding Certificates for various academic programmes of the University should do so on or before 1st May, 2021.

(2) Consequently, any graduate in the above category who fails to claim his/her Certificates on or before the set date shall pay an applicable penalty fee of N30,000:00 (Thirty Thousand Naira) only per annum, effective from 31st day of May, 2021.

3. The affected graduates are therefore, advised to visit the Office of the Ag Registrar from Mondays to Fridays, except on Public holidays, to collect their signed Certificates.

Please, see attached, the Criteria for collection of the Certificates: Ph.D, M.Sc., MBA, PGD, Bachelor's Degrees and Diplomas for your information and appropriate action.

Please be guided accordingly!

1. ESUT Original Certificates Collection Fees (Degree & Postgraduate)

a. ESUT Certificate Fees (First Degree)

• First Degree Graduates are required to pay the sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) only for the collection of their certificates.
• First Degree Graduates are required to pay the sum of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) only for Hiring of Academic Gowns.
• First Degree Graduates are required to pay the sum of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) only for Other Convocation Packages.

Total: 40,000

b. ESUT Certificate Fees (Postgraduate)

• Postgraduate Graduates are required to pay the sum of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000) only for the collection of their certificates.
• Postgraduate Graduates are required to pay the sum of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000) only for Hiring of Academic Gowns.
• Postgraduate Graduates are required to pay the sum of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) only for Other Convocation Packages.

Total: 55,000

2. ESUT Certificate Online Verification Guidelines (Degree & Postgraduate)

• Kindly visit the link to verify if your certificate is ready for collection https://portal.esut.edu.ng/CertificateVerification.aspx
• Enter your Matriculation Number in the box provided
• Click on the Submit Button

NB: If your certificate is ready for collection you will be notified and directed to generate invoice for your certificate payment as outlined below:

3. ESUT Certificate Payment Guidelines (Degree & Postgraduate)

After confirmation of your certificate readiness on the school portal, you are to follow the guidelines below to generate an invoice to pay the required fees for your certificate either online or via any bank branches near you. 

• Kindly Proceed to Sundry Fee Payment on the school portal 
• Payment Type: Student Related Fees
• Payment Sub Type: Certificate Fees (First Degree) OR Certificate Fees (PG).
• Click on the next button to fill the required details in the form page 
• Click on the Submit button to generate invoice and make payment.

4. ESUT Original Certificates Collection Guidelines (First Degrees & Postgraduate)

• After payment, proceed to the Records office with proof of payment. 
• Fill out the form which will be given. 
• Proceed to your department and faculty with these forms for further clearance. 
• Submit these forms back to the records office.

NB: Your certificates can be collected by PROXY, if the person has all the required documents for clearance, and knows all the required details.

Deadline

• ONCE AGAIN: This is to invite all graduates of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), to come forward to claim their Original Certificates which are now ready for collection.
• The Timeline for this Exercise is one month from the date of this publication.
• Please note that defaulters will pay a penalty fee of  (N10.000.00) (Ten Thousand Naira) only.
• You are therefore advised to visit the ESUT Portal and ESUT Website to verify your names. Additional Certificates will be uploaded shortly. So, keep checking for your names and Certificates
