The Management of the Federal Polytechnic Oko (OKOPOLY) has announced the resumption date for the continuation of second semester academic activities for the 2019/2020 academic session.
Following the ASUP suspended strike; I am directed to inform you that the Second Semester Examinations will start on Tuesday, 22 June 2021. To this effect, all revisions, quizzes, and assignments should be concluded on or before Friday 18th June 2021.
The Heads of Departments are enjoined to inform their students to pay all outstanding school fees to be eligible for the examinations.
The timetable for the exams will be released shortly by the Exam Committee.
You are equally reminded that the Polytechnic will ensure full compliance with Covid-19 protocols including-
- Compulsory wearing of facemasks by all staff and students.
- Temperature checks and hand washing facilities at strategic locations in the school.
- Ensuring constant supply of water and sanitizer.
- Enforcement of maintenance of social distancing and suspension of large gathering.
- Avoiding overcrowding including limitations in class size.
- Availability of functional health clinics and facilities.
