Guidelines for Fresh and Returning National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma

(HND) Students for 2020/2021 Academic Session.

Authorities of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri (FPNO) has published the amount of fees payable by all fresh and returning ND and HND students of the polytechnic for the 2020/2021 academic session.

FPNO School fees schedule and payment guidelines has been published below for 2020/2021 academic session.

LATEST UPDATE: FPNO RELEASE OF NEW FEES REGIME AND APPROVAL FOR PART PAYMENT
The Management Committee of the Polytechnic at its 2nd meeting heid on Monday. 19th July, 2021 approved the introduction of a new set of service charges. This is occasioned by the inability of the previous regime of service charges to meet present financial obligations due to the spiraling cost of delivering such services today using the now unrealistic fees Introduced since 2010.

The decision was arrived at after due consultation with the Management Committee and the leadership of the students' body and has subsequently received the approval of the 14th Governing Council of the Polytechnic.

The attached new fees regime is hereby introduced, with effect from the 2020/2021 academic session, payable only by the new students

Also, following further consultations with wider stakeholders, Management has decided to accept the payment of school fees into two installments during this academic session in order to ease the burden of parents and guidance.

Consequently, students who had already collected the former amount of school fees from their parents or guardians would be allowed to pay that part now as first installment while they make arrangements for the balance which they have to pay by the beginning of the second semester.

In view of (2) two above, the remita for school fees would now ask whether the student wants to pay in full or in part and if the student chooses to pay in part, the remita will generate an invoice for the first installment and reflect the outstanding balance in the receipt of payment.

This first payment will enable the student to register his or her courses and attend lectures during the first semester.

The Polytechnic will in the coming days further engage parents, guardians and other stakeholders on the inevitability of this increase, meant to ensure that we maintain the high standard of teaching, learning, research and development the Polytechnic is known for, which has guaranteed the preferred employment opportunities and successes of our graduates over the years.

Therefore, we advice that this should be considered a rational investment on the student rather than expense. Any new student who is unwilling to accept this arrangement is free to apply for the refund of his or her Acceptance Fee through his or her Head of Department before their date of matriculation.

However, the final year students (ND II & HND II should pay an ICT fee of Five thousand naira (N5,000.00) only in addition to the school fees.

Follow these simple six (6) steps to pay your school fees:

Go to www.erp.fpno.edu.ng/index.php?register/payschoolfee or click HERE.
Input your application number correctly and click on PROCEED.
Go to http://erp.fpno.edu.ng/ ON THE SAME BROWSER or Click HERE – this will take you directly to your dashboard.
Select the SESSION, SEMESTER, YEAR, PAYMENT TYPE (which is school fees) and click on GENERATE INVOICE.
Please go to any commercial bank in Nigeria with the invoice generated and pay your school fees with The RRR Number written on YOUR GENERATED INVOICE.
Send your Application Number and the RRR number to studentenquiries@fpno.edu.ng.

Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri (FPNO) Important Notice to all ND & HND Students who are Yet to Make Payment of School Fees for the 2020/2021 Academic Session.

Please note that to be a bonafide student of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri; you must have paid your school fees and be properly registered with a Registration Number.

A) If you are in ND 1 or HND 1, and you have not received the message to proceed to pay school fees after successfully submitting/uploading your documents online, do the following.

1) Send your application number and O’level Verification RRR number to the ICT email – “studentenquiries@fpno.edu.ng” to quickly resolve whatever is causing the delay.2) If you cannot login into your dashboard, and you have forgotten your password, follow these simple steps to recover your password.

On the Login page, click on the button: Forgot your password-Click here
It will take you to the password recovery page, Enter your phone number here.
Click on the button: Retrieve Password
This will send a password reset code to your phone number.
Go back to the login page
Login with the new password sent to you.
It will lead you to a page to change your password.
Change the given password.
3) You must pay your school fees and register your courses online to be able to get access to the E-learning platform which is the only available means to deliver lectures in preparation for the exams.

B) If you are in ND2 and HND2, proceed and pay your fees and get ready to enroll in the E-learning platform. If you have forgotten your portal password, follow these steps to recover your password.
- On the Login page, click on the button: Forgot your password-Click here
