Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) Student's Union Government (SUG) Election Contest Rules / Regulations and Eligibility for the 2019/2020 Academic Session.
Following the lifting of ban/eclection regulation for 2019/2020 S.U.G Elections, the management of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi has released the new regulations/eligibility of contest for all candidates contesting for any position of office.
NSUK SUG Election Contest Eligibility, Rules/Regulations & Guidelines 2019/2020
1.No candidate shall be eligible having been on any type of suspension in the school.2.Election into the senate shall be on constituency basis.
3.0nly members who have completed a session are allowed to contest.
4.Any student contesting for any office must have the CGPA of 2.5, with the exception of the president and Secretary General who must have 3.0, at least.
5. The post of the president and that of Secretary are for 300 level students (other faculties) and 400 level student (Faculties of Law and Agriculture).

6.The offices of Assistant Secretary General and public Relation officer II are exclusively reserved for the students of faculty of Agriculture.
7.All final year students are not eligible to contest for any office. The representation of their constituency in the Senate will be moved to 300 level, who are potential 400 level.
8.Any member holding a position at the department, faculty, NASSA or any of the student union is not eligible to contest. To be eligible, one has to resign his initial position.

9.The sale of form commences from Monday 24th of May, 2021 to Monday 7th of June, 2021.
NOTE: Aspirant should come to the SUG Secretariat, immediately next to the main school gate, to pick their candidate form.
