The National Executive Council of the Academic Staff Union of Universities will meet on Sunday, August 28, 2022, to decide on whether to suspend or continue with the ongoing industrial action at its national headquarters at the University of Abuja.
This was revealed by a member of the council who spoke to a news outlet. According to the source, the meeting was necessitated due to the four weeks ultimatum the union had given to the government which expires on August 28.
