IAUE notice on deadline for payment of fees and course registration, 2021/2022

0

Recall that the approved Academic Calendar of the University for the 2021/2022 session for both fresh and returning students began on Monday, November 29, 2021.

Recall also that the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Okechuku Onuchuku on assumption of office, magnanimously reversed the amount payable as Acceptance charges for students to the amount that was payable in the 2020/2021 session. He also reversed the school fees (charges) to the previous amount of the 2020/2021 session
.

Furthermore, the Acting Vice Chancellor introduced the installmental mode of payment of fees to accommodate those who are unable to pay all fees/charges at once.

However, to the dismay of the University Administration, these students friendly policies have not been reciprocated as majority of the students, both fresh and returning have refused to pay their fees/charges. In the light of the above, the University Administration has directed as follows:

1. All returning students must pay at least the first installment of the fees/charges for the 2021/2022 session, register at least the First Semester courses online before Friday, February 11, 2022.

2. All fresh students who were admitted in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd batches of Admission for the 2021/2022 session, must pay the charges, Acceptance charges and at least the first installment of their school fees charges and register at least the 1st semester courses not later than February 11, 2022.

Please note that students who fail to pay up their charges and register appropriately for the session are not students of the university for the academic session.

Therefore, any student both fresh and returning that fail to comply with the above directives stand the risk of losing his or her studentship.

By this notice, all Deans of Faculties and Heads of Departments are to ensure compliance by students of the various Faculties and Departments.

Signed:

K.H. Kue-Ikoro (Mrs)

Registrar
